September was… a lot. Not in the “we conquered Everest” kind of way. More like “we accidentally alphabetised the spice rack and found clarity in a jar of cumin.”
It was full. It was weird. It was quietly brilliant.
So here’s a meander through the six sites we’re tangled up with. Not a summary. More like a group chat with good snacks and no pressure to make sense.
This one came in swinging, with sass, clarity, and a firm reminder that accessibility isn’t optional.
Embracing Outdoor Access Without Justification gave us the nudge we didn’t know we needed.

Also:
- Making Holiday Homes Truly Accessible (because ramps are sexier than scatter cushions)
- A Gentle Reminder (gentle, yes, but also sharp)
- Blackwater Tall Trees Trail (big trees, big feelings, big smiles)
This one poked around our van-pantries and asked, “Do you really need seventeen types of snack bars wrapped in plastic?”
The Low-Waste Van Pantry said no. Kindly.
Then came Some spirals need shaping. Some clarity needs crafting, which was basically a permission slip to sit in the mess and call it progress.
Also: new community groups are popping up like mushrooms after rain, Facebook, LinkedIn, and probably a WhatsApp group where someone’s already shared a soup recipe.
Professor Gwenin spent September gently dismantling the idea that science is scary.
We got:
- Why Maths Matters (spoiler: it does)
- Global Warming (for the “just give me the gist” crowd)
- Spectroscopy Without Tears (turns out lab techniques can be cuddly)
Science, but make it approachable. And slightly adorable.
Gwenin was the organised friend this month. The one who colour-codes their calendar and still remembers your birthday.

We got:
- How international students can thrive
- How to prep for an interview without losing your marbles
- How to wrestle an abstract into 150 sparkling words
Basically: frameworks, clarity, and the kind of support that makes you feel like maybe you can do the thing.
Spiralmore moved slowly. On purpose.

We offered:
- Let Me Check My Calendar, which questioned whether calendars are actually helpful or just decorative guilt
- Bespoke Frameworks by Gwenin, a crossover event with zero explosions and maximum emotional intelligence
- Spiral IX: Gardening as Therapy, where clarity came with compost and a side of existential peace
Spiralmore: for when you want your wisdom slow-cooked.

Bloggyness (yes, us)
We stayed true to form, half-formed, margin-loving, and gloriously unpolished.
This month we offered:
- Tangled becomes teachable, where knots became metaphors
- Reclaiming the Margin, a love letter to the bits we usually ignore
- We Circle Without Getting Lost, which is exactly as comforting as it sounds
Bloggyness: where the scribbles are sacred and the typos are “probably” intentional.

Wrapping Up
So yes, September was full. Not loud. Not linear. But rich.
We walked trails. We decluttered pantries. We demystified science. We shaped frameworks. We spiralled. We reclaimed margins.
To everyone who read, shared, commented, or just lurked like a benevolent ghost: thank you. You make this whole strange web of projects feel like a very good kind of weird.

Want to keep the momentum going?
- Share something that made you smile
- Join a group and say something mildly profound
- Or just send a message that says “hi, I exist”

Here’s to October. May it be thoughtful, slightly chaotic, and full of excellent snacks.
